Parent Coach / Family Learning Advisor (Remote / Flexible Hours)

We’re seeking an empathetic and experienced Parent Coach / Family Learning Advisor to help families maximize their use of the Self-Degree platform. In this role, you’ll guide parents in designing learning schedules, implementing curricula, and supporting their children’s educational journeys, ensuring both structure and flexibility.

Your work will help families transform homeschooling from a challenge into a structured, engaging, and results-driven experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach parents on effective homeschooling strategies, learning frameworks, and progress tracking.

• Help families implement Self-Degree curricula and AI-guided learning roadmaps.

• Advise on daily routines, goal setting, and adaptive learning practices.

• Support families in identifying student strengths, weaknesses, and personalized learning paths.

• Conduct workshops, webinars, or 1-on-1 coaching sessions for parents and guardians.

• Collaborate with tutors, curriculum designers, and AI teams to align family learning with platform features.

• Provide guidance on college readiness, career pathways, and skill development.

• Build community support systems through discussion forums, Discord groups, and peer mentorship programs.

• Experience in homeschooling, educational consulting, or parent coaching (3+ years preferred).

• Deep understanding of child development, learning strategies, and family education dynamics.

• Familiarity with digital learning tools, AI tutoring platforms, or LMS systems.

• Strong communication, empathy, and mentoring skills.

• Ability to translate complex educational strategies into actionable guidance for parents.
