We’re seeking an organized and relationship-driven Internship & Apprenticeship Coordinator to build, manage, and expand Self-Degree’s global network of real-world learning opportunities.

In this role, you’ll help learners transition from AI-guided education to hands-on experience — coordinating with companies, mentors, and organizations to match students with valuable internships, apprenticeships, and project-based learning programs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a global database of internship and apprenticeship opportunities across industries.

  • Build partnerships with companies, startups, NGOs, and mentors offering experiential learning placements.

  • Match learners to appropriate opportunities based on their skills, goals, and learning progress.

  • Collaborate with career coaches and AI systems to ensure placements align with learners’ personalized roadmaps.

  • Design and implement evaluation systems to track learner success and employer satisfaction.

  • Support learners with application guidance, resume reviews, and interview preparation.

  • Coordinate virtual and in-person apprenticeship programs, including mentorship logistics.

  • Work with the Accreditation and Standards team to ensure all experiences are verifiable and certifiable.

  • Collect feedback to continuously improve the internship/apprenticeship process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Career Services, Human Resources, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in internship coordination, career services, or talent placement (edtech, university, or workforce development background preferred).

  • Strong understanding of career readiness, experiential learning, and competency-based education.

  • Excellent networking, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, AI systems, or decentralized education models.

  • Ability to build trust with both learners and employers.

  • Bonus: Experience with homeschooling, alternative education, or international internship programs.
