We’re seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic College Admissions & Pathway Advisor to help homeschooling students navigate the complex process of applying to colleges and universities worldwide.

You’ll work closely with families, tutors, and the Self-Degree AI system to build personalized learning portfolios, prepare academic documentation, and align educational achievements with college admissions requirements.

Your mission: help homeschoolers turn their unique educational journeys into powerful college applications.

Responsibilities

• Advise homeschooling students and families on college and university admissions processes, both domestic and international.

• Help learners build competitive academic profiles, portfolios, and transcripts.

• Guide students through essay writing, recommendation letters, and interview preparation.

• Align Self-Degree’s learning roadmaps and certifications with college entrance standards.

• Stay up to date with college admission policies, scholarship opportunities, and testing requirements.

• Collaborate with the AI team to create college readiness roadmaps and automated guidance systems.

• Support parents in understanding educational requirements, accreditation, and documentation for homeschooling.

• Optionally, host workshops or webinars for families on college preparation and academic planning.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, Counseling, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in college counseling, admissions advising, or educational consulting.

• Strong understanding of homeschooling systems, portfolio-based learning, and alternative education pathways.

• Familiarity with U.S., U.K., and international college admissions standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to explain complex requirements in a simple, supportive way.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with AI-driven platforms and online tools.
