We’re seeking a meticulous and experienced Accreditation & Standards Specialist to ensure Self-Degree’s programs, curricula, and certifications meet rigorous educational standards and are recognized by institutions, employers, and accrediting bodies.

You’ll play a critical role in validating learning outcomes, aligning curricula with global standards, and supporting regulatory compliance, making Self-Degree a trusted platform for learners worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and align Self-Degree curricula, assessments, and certifications with national and international educational standards.

• Collaborate with curriculum designers, tutors, and AI teams to ensure content and pathways meet accreditation requirements.

• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for standards compliance.

• Monitor and research accreditation requirements, industry regulations, and quality benchmarks.

• Work with external educational boards, universities, and credentialing organizations to establish partnerships and recognition.

• Audit platform learning outcomes, portfolios, and certifications to ensure validity and credibility.

• Provide guidance for homeschooling families and learners on recognized standards and accreditation alignment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Educational Policy, Curriculum Design, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in accreditation, standards compliance, or educational quality assurance.

• Strong understanding of K–12, homeschooling, and higher education standards.

• Familiarity with credentialing, certification programs, and competency-based education.

• Excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate across curriculum, technology, and mentorship teams.
